This little sign hangs at a tiny bar in Mexico right on the beach. The owner could not wait to serve the hubs and I a cold beer and homemade chips and salsa. It was over 5 years ago, but I remember this afternoon perfectly.

Support small and local businesses and give generously when you are able. Small businesses are born from a deep well of passion and love, fueled by the unwavering dedication of individuals who dare to turn their dreams into reality.

As someone who also runs a small business, I know firsthand how every gesture of support, no matter how small, makes an incredible difference. I am so grateful for your continued encouragement over the years, which has allowed my business to grow. In 2025 my yoga retreat business has expanded to Morocco (sold out) and Sardinia (see below) and 2026 is all set with trips to Ireland, Nepal, and back to Umbria, Italy. My yoga teaching business will also expand this year with a new venture partnering with Claire Mark called the The Yoga You. Stay tuned.

Be generous when you can, not only monetarily but with your presence as well. Together, we create a ripple effect of kindness and support that strengthens our community. Whether it is your presence in class or on a retreat, walking with a friend, or supporting a local business.....each action is a vote of confidence in someone’s hard work and dreams, making it deeply meaningful in this time where connection matters most.
